迈尔斯·阿普舍是一名独立记者，在收到一封神秘的告密信后，决定独自一人调查跨国企业 Murkoff 旗下的巨山精神病院。当他进入精神病院时，这里早因骚乱失去秩序。精神病人们四处游荡，并且向迈尔斯发起攻击。随着调查的深入，迈尔斯发现这家精神病院在拿病人做各种恐怖实验。然而真相远比想象的还要复杂……
